Loose a few pounds to gain confidence!

Weight loss always starts in the mind,it’s only when you decide to be your best self can you achieve your goal.
Weight is not something gained in a day, so don’t dream about losing it in a day. Staying determined throughout the journey is the key to weight loss.
Pre weight loss tips
- Make up your mind.
- Know your body in and out.
- Consult a specialist if having any major health issues.
- Talk with your family members and make them a part of your journey.
- Set a goal by targeting at a healthy BMI
- Make a clear idea of the diet plan and exercises.
My weight loss tips
- Intermittent fasting : a clear window of minimum 14 hours of fasting. I have my breakfast by 8 in the morning,the second meal would be finished before 5 pm in the evening.
- Eat healthy : reduced by carb intake.. being a sweet toothed person I consciously cut out sweets,added more vegetables,protein..but not a keto diet.
- Increased water intake: try to drink atleast 12 glasses of water.
- Brisk walking : walked for a minimum of 30 mins daily.
- Meditation: meditating with deep breathing.
- Regularise sleep: having insomina I tried to work on improving sleep patterns by reducing gadget time, started reading, listening to sleep music and small stuffs like that.
Target achievement

Don’t feel demotivated if you don’t see changes in the beginning. Every body takes its on time to adapt to any regime. Once set it will start showing up.
I lost 22 kgs over a span of 14 months.kept it slow paced as I aimed at a healthy weight loss. Now Im at my correct BMI. Having fibromyalgia, scoliosis, cervical spondylosis and such conditions I aimed at a controlled weight loss regime.
How losing pounds benefited me
- Control over my IBS: I hardly get flare up in my IBS now.
- Reduced insulin resistance
- Control over pcos: almost reversed my pcos and menstrual cycles are on the dot now which used to be very delayed.
- Reduce in inflammatory markers.
- Rise in energy levels
- Feeling more happy
- Dress size from xxl to large.
- Feeling more confident and raised self esteem.

- Maintain the healthy weight
- Don’t be over confident over target achievement as it can lead to going irregular and putting more weight than those lost.
- Eat healthy and follow the regime if it suits you best.
